My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pig was surrendered to the rescue after someone found a social media posting from someone that was trying to get rid of her. They were fleeing the country and threatened to throw her outside if someone di did not pick her up. A volunteer picked her up the same night the post was made, and she is safe in the rescue. The owner reports she is about 2 years old. She doesn't mind being handled but is a little skittish, so she would do best with an experienced adopter. She is very silly and inqusitive, and loves her sand baths. Chinchillas can live for 15 years with good care, so she definitely will be a big commitment for someone .
