Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you'd like to meet Gus, please read his full profile. Once you've done that and would like to move forward, we ask that you then visit our website to review our adoption process and requirements and schedule an on-site appointment. www.ggohinc.com
Gus came to us sporting an eye injury that supposedly happened on the dairy farm where he was living - we have no reason to believe that is not the case but, how sad that his owners did not want to care for him once injured. No worries Gus, we gotcha!
Gus has recovered nicely from his eye removal surgery and is learning to navigate a world now seen through only one eye. That can be a big change for a cat that was used to the dangers of the outside world but he is quickly adapting to both living indoors and, not constantly looking around to make sure he is safe. He's done remarkably well and is such a loving fella - he wants nothing more than to be your companion and to shower you with all kinds of kitty kisses. While Gus does get along with other cats, he does prefer to own his space so given that, we do think that he would do best in a home where he is the only cat and doesn't have to compete for space or for your attention. We have not had the opportunity to test Gus with dogs so that is an unknown.
This young fella really is just so darn sweet and we hope that you will at least consider meeting him so he can be given a chance to show off his fabulous personality.
Gus has an approx. DOB of 5/16/2022.
