My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

Monticello was in the den looking out with slightly large pupils but otherwise a calm demeanor, and sniffed and ate treats, allowed petting on the cheek and along the back but could not be coaxed forward.

Monticello interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience or demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior.

A volunteer writes: Monticello is a fluffy, perfect lady. She rested in the corner of her kennel and accepted head pets. I put down some treats for her which she gobbled up. As our interaction continued, she got more and more comfortable with me, rolling around on her back and extended her chin. She seems to be a chill, older lady who would love to be your buddy this summer!
