My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** Mrs. Brown & Mr. Orange are at Cat & Craft adoption center in Vista. ***

Mrs. Brown: black/orange tortoiseshell, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 5/17/23, #18997
Mr. Orange: orange tabby, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 5/17/23, #18998

Cats: bonded pair
Dogs: unknown
Children: gentle kids okay

Mrs. Brown and Mr. Orange hearken from Mexico where they were taken in by a local rescue organization that does its best to save cats in unfortunate circumstances. They transferred to The Rescue House to have better adoption opportunities and now they are ready to settle into a loving forever home.

These big kittens are the best of friends and their code word is "togetherness"! Mrs. Brown and Mr. Orange can be found playing together (get that red dot!), wrestling each other, grooming each other, and snuggling together (warm sunbeams for the win). They lie together in a yin-yang position, all wrapped in each other's arms. For their humans, they are the perfect mix of independence and eagerness for your caresses and company. They get along with all people, love guests, and are approachable and affectionate. If you work outside the home, that's okay as they are super chill and they've got one another while you're gone.
---Mrs. Brown likes to sleep pressed against your legs at night. She loves to walk around the bathtub and will keep you company during your ablutions. (So forget bathroom privacy.) She is the quieter of the two, though she has a ready purr.
---Mr. Orange likes to make the bed with you... it's such a fun game! He is the more adventurous and will usually be the first to check something out. He comes when you call him, and likes to get really close to your face so he can lick your nose. In fact, he'll come worm his way in between you and Mrs. Orange when you're giving her pets and attention... he can't bear to miss out.
---Mrs. Brown and Mr. Orange MUST be adopted together.

They love each other and are okay with other cats. They like to follow the resident turtle around in their foster home. We haven't observed them around dogs, though they may have some earlier experience and might be able to adapt to a calm canine. Gentle kids are fine.

Mrs. Brown and Mr. Orange are a close-knit pair of low-maintenance cats with zero aggression and lots of love, playfulness, and humor. Will they bring their stellar qualities to your home?
