Terracotta is ready to find a forever family! When you meet her, you first notice her adorable tiny mohawk scar and kinked tail. While we don`t know the origins, we do know that she`s full of love and sweetness!
Terracotta loves all people and dogs. She gently takes treats and comes when called. She loves going for walks and is even up for a hike! She socializes well with other dogs and enjoys play, yet she`s also completely content on her own.
Terracotta quickly and easily became house-trained. She sleeps all night in her crate and is content in there for periods during the day, too. She likes having a Benebone to chew on! Terracotta`s future owner could work outside the home as long as they are prepared to give her some good exercise and interaction after work. She`s still young and energetic!
Terracotta came to JRs a few months ago as a shy, nervous pup. She now loves dog life! She greets visitors and doesn`t hide in fear anymore. She plays with toys and other dogs. She loves to explore and take in every part of her new world! Terracotta does well living with teens in her foster home (and their visiting friends). She has also done well when around young children. She does not have strong barking or jumping tendencies! (These traits can always change in new environments, but her foster family can confidently state that she`s not a people-jumper or barker in her foster home.)
Terracotta`s future owner will be one who enjoys training her and watching her grow up as part of their family! She truly is your classic dog companion - loves interaction and exercise, yet also loves curling up on the sofa!
Terracotta says, `Please ask to meet me today! You can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about me on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/40103261297/ Ask to meet me today!!`

Our process includes the completion of an application Upon completion of the application we will:
Contact your vet for information on current and previous animals. It is critical that you have authorized your vet to release information to us.
If you are a renter, we will contact your landlord for verification of animal acceptance, or you can provide a copy of your lease.
Complete a background check using publicly available information.
If applying to adopt a dog, we will complete a home visit which requires all household members to be present.
After the approval is complete you will be free to meet our animals. When meeting dogs, all members of the household as well as any dogs will be required to meet prior to finalizing any adoption.
Our process is thorough and allows us to make every effort to identify the right match for your family. Please be forthcoming of all information during the process as that is what allows us to find the match. Adding a new family member is FOREVER and will adjust your free time, finances and overall life style. Animal adoption is a serious decision.
JR's Pups-N-Stuff, Inc. is a volunteer based organization. Most volunteers have full time jobs and families. Our dedication to helping each and every animal find the right match can take time. Please understand and be patient during the process. Thank you.

More about this rescue
We are an all breed dog rescue and help with some cats as well. We strive to help reduce the over population of pets by spaying and neutering our pets and find forever homes for pets left in shelters that otherwise would be euthanized.
