Hello there--I'm Nala, a two year-old longhaired calico mom who has raised the kids and am ready to find a home of my own. I was living outside, doing the best I could to provide for myself and my kittens, when a kind woman realized my predicament and trapped us all and got us to safety. It seemed apparent that I had been someone's pet at some point, because I am friendly, vocal, and like to be handled. My previous experience with dogs is unknown. Batting a ball around is a favorite game. At the shelter, staff have found that I am not a fan of other cats--I will need to be the only feline in my new home. If you would like to get to know me better, please stop at the shelter for an introduction.

Submit Application

You are welcome to fill out the application online at https://animalarkmn.org/adopt/ or in person at the Animal Ark (2600 Industrial Court).

Meet the Pet

Please call ahead to make sure that the pet you are interested in is at the Ark and someone is available to show you the pet.

Approve Application

Home Check

For Cats we do a virtual home visit once the application is approved. For Dogs we do an in person home visit after we do a meet and greet.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once a home visit is done and approved, we will set up a day and time for you to sign a contract and take the pet home!

We do not do same day adoptions.

Adoption Fees:
• Dogs and puppies: $200-$800
• Adult Cats: $180
• Kittens: $225
• Senior Cats: $125
