Izzy!
Izzy is a medium sized 4 yr old pomsky (pomeranian/husky mix) who sometimes looks like she might also be part hyena and wired for sound. We can promise you, Izzy is as fun as she looks.

Izzy recently joined us after she was no longer needed at her commercial breeding farm and she is so! excited! to learn all about the world, with her adopter as her guide.

Izzy, while understandably new to some things like crates and leashes, faces every challenge with curiosity. She is working on housebreaking and is doing well in a crate, including sleeping in a crate overnight.

Izzy, loves other dogs. She particularly loves to play with other dogs and get riiiiight in their faces and give lots of kisses. She would love a canine sibling to teach her things, however she would also be fine as your one and only, with an adopter prepared to continue to socialize and train her and give her outlets for her energy.

Izzy's adoption fee includes vaccinations to date, microchipping and her spay. She is also 4dx (heartworm and tick bornes diseases) tested and up to date on preventatives and basic vetting.

Dog Town Rescue's standard adoption fees range from $250-$450, depending on the age, size and type of an individual dog.

There is an adoption application and contract required. Landlord references are checked for any restrictions for potential adopters who rent, as are vet references.
Resident animals should be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations, unless there is a medical reason.

A dog meet with be required with any resident dogs to ensure it is a good match and all children ages 12 and under should also come meet the potential new dog.

Dog Town is a doggy daycare, boarding and grooming facility in Montgomery County, PA. We also now have rescue dogs that we house and care for until they are adopted. Most of our dogs are at high risk of euthanasia and come directly from local Philadelphia are shelters.
