My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tiana is one of FVHA's older gals that seems to not do anything wrong, except try to explore when she gets the chance. Tiana loves to chat and get attention, she'll let you know when she is not getting enough attention!

Being estimated of 14-years-young, Tiana came to FVHA as a stray that was thin and full of kindness. The vet team at FVHA put her on a trial period of medication for hyperthyroidism and determined afterwards that she did have that condition. Hyperthyroidism is a common condition in older cats, it is when the thyroid gland produces too much hormone which then increases the metabolic rate in the cat; this can be seen through weight loss, increased thirst and urination, hyperactivity, and vomiting. This rockstar of a cat can responded well to her daily medication and also does well taking it.

While Tiana is a 10-star cat, our vet team has determined that she would best benefit from a home to have hospice care for her. Tiana did have a few other health concerns that popped up but seem to have resolved, with this it is best that the home she spends the rest of her life in can provide the love, care, and support she needs with her medical issues. If you are looking to be a hospice animal adopter or to take in the sweetest girl, Tiana is your gal.

Tiana is in a foster home, if you are interested in meeting her or would like to learn more please call our adoption team at 920-733-1717.
