My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When Spike first arrived at HTAT over a month ago, he felt like his world had been turned upside down. Unsure if he could trust anyone, he hissed at everyone. But soon he let his guard down and has become both a staff and volunteer favorite.

Spike is a chubby bundle of joy with so much love to give. His eyes light up whenever you enter the room. He adores people. His greatest joy is just being near you. His favorite game? Chasing fishing pole toys, where his playful spirit shines through, despite his extra fluff.

Spike is a sensitive soul who needs a calm home. He is very sensitive to changes around him. Transitions are particularly hard for him and he needs someone who is patient and willing to make sure to do everything at his speed when he moves into their home.

If you have a quiet home and a heart full of love, Spike is ready to fill your life with joy and companionship. Your heart and home could be the sanctuary Spike has been longing for. Could you be the one to change his life forever?

More about this shelter

Here Today Adopted Tomorrow is a 501(c) (3) non-profit, volunteer driven group focused on reducing the number of homeless animals in our community through prevention and adoption services. In December of 2012, Here Today opened a cageless adoption center for adult cats and kittens. It is deeply important to us that every resident's stay at Here Today is comfortable and healthy, making for well-adjusted, happy animals.
