My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Rusty! I'm known around here for my sweet nature and friendly demeanor. I love making new friends and I'm not shy about it. I've got an independent streak too, you know. I can entertain myself just fine, but I always enjoy some good company. I'm brave and confident, not much rattles me. I've been told I have a calming presence, maybe it's my laid-back attitude. I'm not just looking for an owner, I'm looking for a friend, a companion, someone who needs me as much as I need them. Adopting me means gaining a loyal friend who will be by your side, through thick and thin.

Unfortunately Rusty has been added to the urgent list due to his selectivity with other dogs. He is pretty laid back, but tends to display dominant energy (some dogs aren't always fond of this). For this reason he would do better in a home with another submissive dog. A dog on dog meet and greet is suggested before adoption. Rusty is still in search of his forever home!
