My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Liam is looking for a human he can adore.  He is some kind of hound mix (maybe some Vizla, maybe some Pointer) but whatever the mix, it includes a pound of sweetness.  He is a velcro dog, following his foster around the house and always wanting to be around the humans.  If you want a dog who is snuggly and devoted, give Liam a try!  He will gaze at you with those amazing golden eyes and give you doggie kissses galore.

He is about 2 years old and a very manageable 37 pounds.  He is small enough to do well in a townhouse, as long as he gets regular walks and outdoor time.  He loves goving for long walks with his foster and does not pull on the leash too much.  He is a hound so he loves sniffing and will enjoy walks or hikes in the woods.  He is interested in everything--smells, people (including little ones), dogs and other animals, and bicycles and scooters that pass.  He loves to be with other dogs and would be happy to be in a home with a dog sibling or would be fine as an only dog.

His foster says he rides well in a car and is accustomed to being crated at night.  He is housetrained but will probably need a little refresher when he moves homes.   Don't you want some kisses from Liam?  Come meet him at one of our adoption shows!

PAW places animals in the Washington DC/Baltimore metropolitan area only.
