My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Liam is looking for a human he can adore. He is some kind of hound mix (looks a bit Vizla) but whatever the mix, it includes a pound of sweetness. He is a velcro dog, following his foster around the house and always wanting to be around the humans. If you want a dog who is snuggly and devoted, give Liam a try! He will gaze at you with those amazing golden eyes and give you doggie kissses galore.

He is about 2 years old and a very manageable 37 pounds. He is small enough to do well in a townhouse, as long as he gets regular walks and outdoor time. He loves goving for long walks with his foster and does not pull on the leash too much. He is interested in everything--smells, people (including little ones), dogs and other animals, and bicycles and scooters that pass. He loves to be with other dogs and would be happy to be in a home with a dog sibling or would be fine as an only dog.

His foster says he rides well in a car and is accustomed to being crated at night. He is housetrained but will probably need a little refresher when he moves homes. Don't you want some kisses from Liam? Come meet him at one of our adoption shows!

Additional adoption info

1. Interested adopters first fill out an adoption application.
2. Adoption applications are reviewed by an Adoption Review Committee within a couple of days.
3. A vet check is performed on all adoption applicants for current and past pets.
4. A home visit is conducted.
5. If the adoption is approved, a contract is signed, a donation made, and the pet goes home with the adopter.
