My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

OTTO is a handsome Terrier mix boy that is so very handsome and a young 4 year old that is 40 pounds and ready for a  wonderful family that wants a fabulous dog!  This boy is just adorable and so happy and friendly and seems to be Schnauzer mix or Border Terrier that is so versatile in his personality.  You want a dog that is great with other dogs….that is Otto.   You want a dog that is wonderful with all types of people that he encounters…that is Otto.

Otto is a very sweet dog that has been taught the basics that add up to an A+ candidate for a family.  He is crate trained and is house trained as long as taken out regular.  He does pull some on a leash but we are working on that.

He loves his people and loves to c uddle. He really enjoys his yard so he needs a fenced in yard.He loves to run and play.

He knows how to sit. We has not been around young toddlers so we think that older children would be the best vet for him if there are children in the family setting.  He is a great dog and would enrich any family.   We do want to be sure to say that he does shed.  If you are a active family he is always up for an adventure. More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Cavalry give them a chance to have a life?
