My name is Dan - $75 Adoption Fee! Diamond Dog!!

Hi! I'm Dan! I'm an approximately 5 year old, male, German Shepherd mix who weighs about 65 lbs. I was found off Eva Plance in Rockwall on 06/15/2024 with a friend and sadly never reclaimed. I am 100% a water baby! I should have been born a dog-fish because I love being in the pool. I'd love to find a new home to celebrate the warm summer months so I can splish-splash! I walk well on a leash and appear to be crate trained. RAC is confident that I will be house trained quickly once I am adopted. I came in with a friend but a meet and greet is encouraged if you have another dog in the home. I have been searching for my furr ever home for 108 days as of 10/01/2024 and am now considered a Diamond Dog! My adoption fee is $75. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, and basic boosters. I did test heartworm positive but Thanks to Rockwall PAWS, I will be able to receive treatment at little to no cost to my adopters. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
