Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Keno was surrendered by his owner because he would not hunt. He is a great house dog though. Because Keno spent 6 months outside with the hunting dogs, he is not used to being inside and around people, so he is apprehensive at first. He was also not accustomed to getting attention or playing with toys. He is experiencing a lot of changes but he is adjusting well. He will need time and patience from his new family.
Other dogs are the key for Keno. He loves to be around and play with other dogs and warms up quicker to people that other dogs are comfortable with. He feels more comfortable coming to someone if they are sitting on the floor. He also loves being around cats that are dog friendly. Our indoor cat is great with dogs and they have become fast friends. He is not used to being in a crate, and does not like going in, but has been tolerant once in it. We have left him out in the house at night and when we leave as a test and he has been very well behaved.
