Meet sweet Thunder!
This boy is just shy of one year old. Thunder was pulled from a shelter in California where he had undergone leg surgery. We suspect he was hit by a car and unfortunately, has caused him to have a limp. Although he physically appears to limp, this doesn't slow Thunder down. A second opinion from a specialist said that they did not see anything wrong with Thunder post surgery. However, rehabilitation is strongly recommended. X-ray imaging can be provided as well as all medical paperwork upon adoption.
Thunder is living his best life with his foster brother, running around in the country! He loves to run, but does tire easily. Thunder enjoys cuddling and is an affectionate young boy. Thunder does not show prey drive and gets along well with other dogs! Thunder likes to play with the outdoor cats that he resides with and enjoys cuddling with them. Thunder is also kid friendly!
Thunder is quite intelligent and has had obedience training. Thunder has a very calm demeanor and is not your typical "highly energetic" malinois. He is perfectly content with a slower paced life with some fun activities. His coloring is quite handsome, as he does have the dark sable appearance.

We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Our home address is in Michigan, however, the majority of our dogs are not located in Michigan. The physical location of each our our dogs is posted with the name of the pet or in the title area. If you are within 4 hours of the pet, please be prepared to pick the pet up. We do provide transport assistance up to 350 miles. The applicant must drive the remainder of the distance of the transport.
