My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Recently, I sat down with Raine, one of the many cats up for adoption here at Feline-Canine Friends, and asked her if she had anything she’d like people to know about her. She was very eager to share!

Raine:  Well, for about a year I lived with a family, along with another cat, Ryder. Suddenly, our family was gone and Ryder and I were outside, hungry, frightened, and in pretty rough shape. We didn’t know how to live out there!

Thankfully, we were found by someone who brought us both here, to Feline-Canine Friends, where they treated our wounds, filled our empty bellies, and let us know we were now safe and loved!

FCF:  What are you looking for in a new family?

Raine:  As I’m still a bit on the cautious side, I’m hoping to find a home where I can explore at my own pace. Once I feel safe, I’m good! I love to play, so I’d love lots of toys and fun stuff to do. Windows, where I can watch what’s happening outside, without BEING outside, would be awesome. I’m a “live and let live” kinda gal so I think I’d probably get along with another laid-back, gentle cat. I don’t really like to be picked up, so young children might not work for me.

FCF:  So, if anyone out there is looking for a sweet, beautiful, playful, curious one-year old, please check out Raine. She’s up-to-date on all of her required vaccinations, has been spayed, and is ready to move on! More about this rescue

Feline/Canine Friends (F/CF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. F/CF rescues, rehabilitates, re-homes and provides sanctuary for many cats including special-needs cats. Many of our special needs cats have FIV or FeLV; plus we have many ferals who have been given a new home and a new life.

We are an all-volunteer group dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals and educating people on the importance of spaying and neutering to control the pet population.
