Hello, hoomans! I'm **Welcome**, a lovable 1-year-old Terrier mix with a charming white and beige coat! 🐶 Weighing 6.3 kg, I'm a bundle of affection and joy, ready to find my forever home. Here’s a bit about me:

💖 I'm very affectionate and love to approach everyone, rubbing against you for pets and cuddles, whether we've just met or are old friends.

🐾 You can lift me by putting your arm under my belly. I greet strange dogs politely but don't play with them much—I'm more interested in people!

🌳 I enjoy outdoor activities and have a normal energy level. After some fun outside, I love to rest quietly at home.

🚶‍♂️ I do tend to pull on the leash a bit, but I generally follow my human well. I'm a quick learner!

🍲 I don't guard my food against people, but I might growl if another dog approaches while I'm eating. I'm very food-motivated and love all kinds of snacks.

🔔 I'm a quiet pup and hardly ever bark. I prefer to do my business outside and might mark my territory in a new place.

🏠 I’m a pro-escaper, so it's best if I live in a condo or townhouse rather than a house with a backyard. I show little interest in other dog friends, so I'd be happiest as the only dog in the home.

Most of our dogs are currently in Korea. After we give approvals, we arrange the flight schedule for rescued dogs. Some of our rescued dogs are being fostered in GTA. Please check their locations on profiles.

Chenny's Happy Tails Rescue Canada is a not-for-profit group(Corporate name: 12023318 CANADA FOUNDATION) registered in Canada, based in Toronto, Canada.

We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.

We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
Chenny's Happy Tails Korea rescues and rehabilitates dogs to make them ready to be adopted.
Chenny's Happy Tails Canada works on finding the best adopter for each dog who can provide them a forever loving home and reliable care.
