What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I adopted Peaches in Brooklyn in 2022! A friend was fostering her after her previous owners experienced a house fire. I believe she was living with her dad and brother. We think she's 10, and she's about 7ish pounds.
She is a sweetheart, just incredibly anxious, and hates to be left alone. I'd recommend her new owner to be someone retired or who works from home or can invest some time in training her a bit more than we were able to.
When I adopted her she had just had the majority of her teeth removed as well. She has about 3 in the back. I think the experience made her a little weird with other dogs. She loves people though. ❤️
She's an old lady, but goofy and playful when she feels safe. Loves to cuddle and nap. We love her and will miss her a ton, but unfortunately, her anxiety is more than I can manage right now with an 18-month-old in the house with special needs.
