My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

All dogs are special, but every once in a while, a dog comes through the shelter that is truly one of a kind. Fuji has a severe deformity of his front leg that is a challenge for him; yet this boy is happy, sweet, playful, and friendly. He doesn’t have a care in the world and just wants people to see him for who he is on the inside- which is the very best boy!!

During a brief foster stay Fuji loved snacking on watermelon, was a quiet couch potato, and tolerated the crotchety resident senior dog. He seemed to be housebroken and listened well.

“Fuji is a lover. He followed me from room to room. He always wanted to know where I was.”

Here’s what one volunteer at the shelter said:

“Fuji was friendly and easy to handle when I met him first time this week. He was a little nervous but was looking forward to going out. He and his kennelmate had a great time in the play yard.”

Fuji shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been social and tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Please ask about this incredibly resilient and special boy!!
