My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Look at this beautiful boy. His name is Thomo, and despite being very calm and reserved in his kennel, he is a ray of absolute SUNSHINE outside. He was pretty thin but also super picky about snacks... He is about a year and a half, so still a puppy, but is so well behaved for his age! The volunteers was seriously impressed. On a recent walk, some people stopped him and a volunteer outside so they could marvel at his beauty! They even pointed out that one of his eyes was half blue and half brown - so unique! The summer can be tough on pups with long hair, especially in the shelter with so many of them in smaller spaces, so we're really hoping he finds a good home soon where he can thrive and just be his silly self.

During a playgroup session, he was a bit defensive and did not want other dogs near him. He never did anything wrong, but he was definitely not comfortable. He would likely do best as an only dog.

If you're interested in learning more about him, please reach out to our Volunteer Matchmakers at wcac.matchmaker@gmail.com with the subject line "Thomo 250928".

He is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be neutered prior to going home. If you have cats, we recommend VERY slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times.
