Let’s talk Tyrone. He’s a little guy, only 38 lbs. with interesting grayish/tan coloring. He’s a little shy but warms up quickly. He gets very excited when he sees other dogs and he just comes to life. This cutie is friendly and playful (he is only a year old) and he loves pets. He’s simply a joy to be around. We could talk more about Tyrone but better yet, why not come and meet him? You’ll love him.

We have many wonderful pets waiting to be adopted! Adoption fees are $85 for dogs and $65 for cats (Dogs over 5 years old, $40). The adoption fee to persons over 55 years old is $40. Adoptions includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, heartworm test, fecal test, and Feline Leukemia/FIV test for cats.

Managed by LifeLine Animal Project, DeKalb County Animal Services provides a humane environment for DeKalb County’s homeless pets. We also provide other services such as veterinary care for our animals including spay/neuter surgeries, pet adoptions, pet reclaims, volunteer programs, foster home programs, rescue group coordination, and other lifesaving programs.
