My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Happy is the home with at least one cat." Hazel will bring so much joy to her new family!

Meet Hazel: The Yoga Master with a Unibrow!

Looking for a workout buddy with a twist? Hazel is a five year old cutie who’s mastered the art of yoga the art of looking fabulously quirky. With her unique unibrow, Hazel’s face is as expressive as her leg stretches (see one of the photos for proof of her flawless form).

But don’t be fooled by her serious brows - Hazel just needs a few minutes to warm up, and then she’ll be the best friend you’ve ever had. Whether it’s lounging on your lap for snuggles or helping you perfect your downward dog, Hazel is always up for the challenge.

Hazel is waiting to bring her unique charm to your life. Adopt her today and get ready for a lifetime of laughs, love, and some seriously impressive yoga poses!

More about this shelter

Cheatham County Animal Control is committed to finding good homes for the animals that come into the shelter system. We work with rescues and adopters. We are a no kill shelter but we rely on people coming in to adopt!

All of our cats/dogs receive vaccinations that are appropriate for the age and health when they are at animal control. We also spay and neuter all of our animals. The adopter is responsible for all vaccinations and medical care after adoption.
