My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tucker from the Justice litter! Tucker came from a litter consisting of 6 boys and 2 girls. His mom Justice came to Canine Collective heavily pregnant and was the first mama to use our newly opened air conditioned maternity ward. Mama Justice looks like a boxer and maybe boston terrier but Dad is nowhere to be found. Mama has given her babies lots of attention and our volunteers visit the maternity ward to socialize the pups and give them TLC. They are currently 7 weeks old and are full of life! If these pups are anything like their super sweet, ball centric mama, the families who adopt these pups will be blessed with an affectionate, playful family member.

The majority of the litter are white and black just like their mama, but differ in their markings. They will be ready for adoption once they get their 2nd round of puppy shots July 4th but you can apply now for Tucker or any of his litter via www.caninecollective.org.

Our adoption process takes several steps and cannot be completed in one day. All of our volunteers work full time and assist the rescue in their spare time. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response.

* Applicants must be willing to make a ten plus year commitment to their new family member.

* Applicants must commit to daily exercise, walks, trips to the dog park or play in the back yard. A well exercised dog is a happy well behaved dog!

* Applicants living in a rental property must provide proof of pet policy from landlord.

* Applicants must provide a veterinarian reference and if there are existing dogs in the household. All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on all shots and heartworm medication.

*Please allow at least a 7-14 day adjustment period for your new dog. Rescue dogs go thru a lot of changes and need a few days to get used to their new surroundings and adjust. Adopting a dog should be a serious commitment, so please be willing to work out the kinks. Our dogs aren't perfect but with proper training and guidance they make awesome, loving pets.

*Our adoption fees vary based on the age and medical needs of the dogs.
