Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I know what you're thinking - Shadow can't possible be THAT handsome, can he? Well, humans, believe it or not, I actually am! Hi, I'm Shadow, and luckily for you, I'm more than just a pretty face. I'm a sweet, gentle, playful, introverted boy looking for a forever home with someone who can appreciate both my aesthetic appeal AND my charming nature. Like my introverted human counterparts, I like to take things slow when getting to know new people. I keep my circle small and my connections meaningful, and really love my replenishing naps (and yes, you have my permission to take photos while I have a little snooze). If it sounds like we would make a good match, hurry up and come meet me! I am a hot commodity after all...

When you adopt an animal, you’re not just saving the life of the animal you adopted. You’re also opening up space for the next animal in need. Our goal at the Morris Animal Refuge is to approach the adoption process holistically to make the best matches for our adopters and for our animals.
We are no longer requiring appointments or pre-approvals to adopt! Visit our shelter (1242 Lombard St) or PetSmart Adoption Center (2360 Oregon Ave.) during the following hours to adopt your new best friend. We will process your information at the time of adoption and in most cases your animal can go home with you on the same day.
