I am Franklin, the dark orange tabby and the official greeter! I get so excited to see people; sometimes, I think I am a parrot. I love being near my people and snuggling. I am very curious and need to know what you are doing to see if I can help! I especially love to help sweep. We both are not afraid of the vacuum, not best friends but we watch it to see what is doing.
Hello! I am Walden, the more white and orange and the calmer of the brothers. I will greet you as well, but my brother always beats me! We enjoy playing together almost as much as eating together. Our favorite toys are balls and wand toys, and the laser is the absolute best invention ever! When we are not playing, you can find us napping in our cat tree, all cuddled up together, but when we play, I have to show him who the boss is, and let’s say I win! We enjoy pets; belly rubs and chin scratches are the best!
We were born inside and so we have been around humans all our lives. We both love wet food, Fancy Feast Chicken Gravy Lovers, and Purina One Chicken Kitten dry food. We haven’t been around kids or dogs, but we’re sure we would do fine with a proper and slow introduction! Are you ready for all the love, fun, and excitement we can bring to your home? We have an adoption application to learn a bit about the home our cats will be going to and the family's motivation for adoption and expectations about pet ownership. We also have an adoption contract, which includes a no declawing and indoor-only clause along with a vet promissory note that ensures you will continue with the medical care and spay/neuter if needed.
We DO NOT do any out of state adoptions except on the NC border on a case-by-case basis.
We require a donation of $120 for adoption of unaltered kittens with a PTV Contract. All kittens receive vaccine series and wormings as well as medical treatment as needed. The adopter is responsible for obtaining their rabies vaccine and spay/neuter if the kitten is not of age at the time of adoption. We can provide resources for low cost clinics that offer these services.
We ask a donation of $25 to adopt Career/barn cats.
We require a donation of at least $140 for adoption of Spayed/neutered cat.
Bonded pairs adoption donation is $200.
Sometimes we require rental checks or home inspections. We always have a Meet n Greet to make sure everyone gets along. We encourage bringing the whole family!

Our heart is in TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return of ferals), where cats are fixed, vaccinated, ear tipped, and allowed to live out their lives without reproducing. We are advocates for advancing legal and social acceptance of TNR in Hampton Roads. Our unique feral kitten socialization program has a 90% success rate in socializing feral-born kittens to become loving, in-home pets.
