Hi there! My name is Pistol Pete, but you can call me Sweet Pete too! I'm a 15-week-old lab mix, weighing in around 20lbs. Oh, and guess what? I’m available for adoption in New England!

I’m a bundle of energy, adventure, and curiosity, all rolled into one adorable package! I have loads of energy, but I'm also a good listener when it comes to corrections and redirections. I even manage to get my older foster dogs to join in on the fun because, well, I’m just that lovable! I’m learning to respect my foster cat family too (all four of them), but I’m still mostly curious about them. Sometimes I bark at them because I’m just not sure about them yet.

I’m working on my house-training skills, but I’m making great progress! Freeze-dried beef liver is my favorite treat for learning commands like “sit,” and I’m getting pretty good at that one! My foster mom says my new forever home is gonna get a super wonderful pup!

I absolutely love people, other dogs, and long walks. I am currently loving hanging out in my crate. Car rides? Yes, please! And fireworks? No problem at all! I’m playful and love retrieving toys and bringing them back, but I also settle quickly for some hugs and snuggling.
