My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Typha (m), sibling to Salix, is a rare chocolate tabby. His name is the botanical name for cattail. His color is much like the color of the plant. Typha's calm demeanor and gently nature make him the perfect companion. He and sibling Salix make a beautiful pair.
Their mom was a gentle girl who was on her own but being fed by a kind man who cared for the little family. However,  he was at a loss when they became sick with an upper respiratory and eye infections. By the time he found Sunshine's Friends and brought them to us, the kittens really needed help.

With proper treatment and good nutrition, Typha and siblings bounced back pretty quickly, but a few of the kittens, including Typha, had damage to their cornea. It causes him no pain or problems and does not require further treatment. The cat family has been to our vet, and all have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and given a clean bill of health.

Typha and brothers are now ready to go to their forever homes and bring happiness to the lucky people who adopt them.
