Harriet Is An Awesome Puppy Saved From The Puppy Mill. This beautiful girl was destined for a sad life as a mill mom. Thankfully the breeder was discarding her and we got her and her siblings safely out and into our rescue. Despite her rough start, Harriet is a touch shy but warms up pretty quickly. She will be an awesome member to any committed forever family. She will blossom with love and will do well in a home with another friendly respectful dog companion.
Like all puppies she will need structure and a patient loving home. We recommend training for all puppies not only to give the puppy learning skill. But you and your puppy/dog will create a stronger bond just for having gone to training.
Harriet is fully vetted, She has been spayed, received age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, Subsequent vaccines are at the expense of her adopter, Her adoption donation is $1200.00. She is on the hunt for her own completely committed family, Little Dogs can live to be 20+ years old so she wants to be sure her family is all in 100% for better or for worse!
IF INTERESTED IN A PUPPY (UNDER 12 MONTHS): YOU MUST HAVE A FLEXIBLE WORK SCHEDULE OR SOMEONE HOME ALL DAY. PUPPIES NEED TO BE LET OUT TO POTTY OFTEN, THEY NEED SOCIALIZATION AND BONDING AND NEED TRAINING (HOUSETRAINING AND BEHAVIORAL TRAINING). IF YOU WORK LONG HOURS, HAVE A BUSY SOCIAL SCHEDULE OR NOT FINANCIALLY SECURE THEN A PUPPY IS NOT FOR YOU.

To adopt any animal from Rescue Tails we require a completed and verified adoption application. Once we can review the application, we can set up a meet and greet. We ask that all members of the household including pets are available for us and prospective pet to meet. Providing that goes well, we will set an appointment with you for a home visit. If all goes well we can proceed to the final step of finalizing the adoption.

Rescue Tails Animal Welfare is dedicated to rehoming pets from high kill shelters. We choose an animal one at a time and evaluate what issues caused the animal to end up in the shelter and address those issues. Most often we find behavioral issues and/or medical issues . We deal with whatever it is to the best of our ability and then place the pet up for adoption to a responsible pet guardian. It is our goal to prevent the pet from returning to the system again. We work with the pets and carefully match them to their forever homes.
