Rooster is such an awesome cat! We received an Instagram message about this super sweet cat who had a gash in his back. We asked a rescuer friend to help us catch him and here he is, all healed and ready for his big moment: being adopted by you! Rooster is good with other cats and would be a great kitty with another playful cat or with folks who are around to play wtih him. He is super affectionate and a great companion. Rooster is about 3 years old, neutered, microchipped, fiv-/felv-, up to date on vaccines, tested negative for parasites and ready for a wonderful furrever home!

Additional adoption info

Interested adopters first fill out an adoption application, after which they can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt and their application is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for an adoption fee to help us continue our work.

We hold Saturday adoption events at Unleashed by Petco in Park Slope and Petsmart on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn (check our website and Facebook page for more information) and have cats at Bushy Tails pet store in Bushwick and Petsmart.

We are a Brooklyn-based group of volunteers committed to improving the lives of animals in distress by working with our communities. We are dedicated to Trap-Neuter-Release programs, finding homes for adoptable animals, performing community outreach and education, and engaging in advocacy.
