LUCKIE is one of 3 pups that came in as a litter. We are not sure of her breed…as she is not large like a Lab or small like a Chihuahua. She is probably a Terrier mix. She is the happiest puppy ever with her rounded face. She came to us with a massively swollen face from having been stung by a scorpion on the upper lip. Poor thing…she hurt…but in 2 days after the proper medical care she was her old self wanting to play and have a great time. Thus, we called her Luckie. Of course, she was the only one with dewclaws (the extra claw on the hind feet) and had to have them removed…but she is ready to go and will be a great family pet. We expect her to grow to about 25-30#...not too big and not too small.
The litter came to us from a new acquaintance that was trying to save them from being dumped. The people planning to dump them gave them to our new friend of which we agreed to accept them into our rescue. They were friendly and happy but needed medical care which we gave them. In no time at all they were happy-campers and ready to go. We estimate their DOB at 2/29/2024.

This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention.

Adoption Fees
The adoption fee includes transportation to the NE. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting.
All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog.
This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose.
