This happy boy is RHETT. He is a 7 month old Beagle who was abandoned on the side of a road by his owner with two other Beagles. Sadly, one didn't make it, but RHETT and SCARLETT came to our pound. RHETT is a lemon Beagle. If you are familiar with the Beagle breed, then you know that lemon Beagles are the rarest. They aren't easy to find and breeders charge a lot of money if you buy one. Yet, here we have one at a county facility waiting for someone to give him the love he deserves. RHETT is sweet, affectionate, and playful. He is a good-natured boy who wants nothing but love and attention. OK, he also wants treats and food, and he is very food motivated. RHETT is good with kids and other dogs; we don't know about cats. He does use his doggy door in his kennel, but he still may need housebreaking lessons. If you love Beagles, you will fall head over heels for RHETT.
