-Sophia wants to be your new best friend! This girl LOVES her people. Want to take a walk? Want to relax and chill? Sophia is game! She loves snuggling and a good belly rub. She will also chew her bone contently and just hang out with you.
— Sophia initially had some separation anxiety due to being an owner surrender. With medication, time, and routine, she is doing amazing. She does not like being in a crate, but now does very well in a closed room when necessary (work, sleep). She would be fine to sleep with or without you. Sophia loves treats and bones. She likes company when she eats her main meals, sometimes insisting on being hand fed.
Sophia does well with other dogs, however, she is small dog selective. She loves her 11 pound Chihuahua foster brother. Calm, smaller dogs would be best for her if there are small dogs in the home, with a slow introduction. She would also be fine as an only dog.
Sophia truly loves people and does great with kids! She loves my 8 year old granddaughter. She is a very attentive and affectionate girl.
Sophia does well with keywords, such as wait, go lay down, bye bye (going to work) and night night (going to sleep for the night).
She is potty trained and does well for up to 8 hours or more while her people are away from home. She really loves taking walks, so taking a walk before leaving is ideal.
Sophia is a pretty laid-back, low maintenance girl. She has playful moments, but is mostly low energy. A quick game of fetch or tug-of-war keeps her happy! She is happiest when she is with her people and would do well with someone that works at home or away from home (8 hours or so).
