My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone my name is Midge and I was recently taken into the rescue when I was found as a stray in a local town. I was one of the lucky buns that was seen, caught and brought to the local shelter for safekeeping. This is a wonderful shelter but not necessarily set up to care for bunnies.

I sadly have only one eye and that is how I came to the shelter. It is unknown if this occurred before or after I was released to fend for myself. I have been seen by an exotic vet and since there is no eye there is not much to be done. It does not bother me at this point and I have no pain and love to run and play. I have been spayed and have a clean bill of health. I love to run and play and binky everywhere I go. I am so cute no one can stop looking at me. I may do well with a gentle neutered male bun as a bondmate but because of me not being able to see from one side it would need to be a very gentle bun.

I am eating a proper diet of adult timothy pellets, timothy hay, bowl of fresh water and my daily salad of items like romaine, carrot tops and parsley. I also love my weekly treats of fruits and enjoy a small piece of banana, apple and even blueberries.

Would you consider opening your heart and home to a sweet girl like me?

More about this rescue

After fostering for over 20 years I decided it was time to open my own rescue. Bunnies are intelligent caring sensitive creatures who blossom in the right environment. They have much more spunk and personality than most people realize . You will be a convert once you have the chance to experience first hand how wonderful a compainon they can be.
