My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lady Jane: Your Future Best Friend with a Freckled Nose!

Hi there! My name is Lady Jane, and I'm here to steal your heart with my sweet personality and adorable freckled nose. I’m a 9-month-old, 33 lb orange and white Brittany, and I’m as charming as they come. I’m spayed, up-to-date on all my vaccines, and heartworm and tick negative. Plus, I’m on all my preventions, so I’m as healthy as can be!

Why You’ll Fall in Love with Me:

  • Housebroken and Crate Trained: I’ve got my manners down! You won’t have to worry about any messes with me.
  • Command Savvy: I know my basic commands, so you can be sure I’m a well-behaved girl.
  • Affectionate: Cuddles? Yes, please! I’m all about those cozy snuggle sessions.
  • Playful: I’d love to have a furry friend to romp around with. But if I’m your one and only, I’m perfectly happy being the center of your world.

My Dream Home:

  • A Fenced Yard: I need a safe space to run and play. A physical fenced yard is a must for my adventures!
  • Family Fun: I’d love to go on outings and explore new places with you. Whether it’s a trip to the park or a stroll around the neighborhood, count me in!
  • Social Butterfly: If you have neighbors with dogs or a daycare where I can play, that would be amazing. I love making new friends!

From My Heart to Yours:

I promise to fill your life with joy, laughter, and endless love. I’m a happy-go-lucky girl who’s just looking for a family to call my own. If you spoil me with affection and fun, I’ll be your loyal companion forever.

Ready to add some extra love to your life? That’s me, Lady Jane, ready to be your best friend and adventure buddy. Let’s create a lifetime of wonderful memories together!

The adoption fee for OK/Lady Jane, who lives in Tulsa, OK  is $500,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making OK/Lady Jane  part of your family, please complete the on-line application by visiting www.nbran.orgContact the South Central Region Coordinators Chris Wagoner at cwnbran@gmail.com  , Melinde Waddle at macgammy@gmail.com and/or Nancy Walker at nwalker@capecod.net  and then let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator, before talking to the foster of Lady Jane.

Transportation can be arranged up to 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.

Our Britts are housed in foster homes. We are NOT a shelter.

Foster homes are our lifeline to saving dogs. We have opportunities for fostering in every state and Canadian Province. Fostering not only helps the dogs, but blesses the humans involved too. Knowing that you are helping a Brittany find a forever loving home is a great feeling! If you can foster please complete a volunteer application under the Help the Dogs button on our website.
