My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hazel is a 7.5 year old poodle who spent the first 7 years of her life in a puppy mill situation. She is a very sweet girl, but is timid and slow to warm up to new people.

She loves to be outside, to take naps and short walks, loves being pet when she’s comfortable with you. She does great on a leash, with grooming, at doggy daycare when needed, riding in the car, and even going to dog-friendly stores. She takes treats so gentle, even from our 2 year old!

Hazel’s biggest challenge is her anxiety - she does not like to be left alone indoors (she does fine alone outside). She would do best in a home with a doggy door where she can control when she goes outside/inside. And she would do great in a home with another dog.
