If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Finn is a seven year old purebred yellow lab. I have owned him since he was a puppy. He loves adults and children, especially those who will play frisbee with him. His talent soars at catching one! He is completely housebroken and can behave on his own while you are away at work. Finn makes friends with cats. He may be curious about them at first if they want to play cat and mouse! Finn needs an experienced pet owner who will set boundaries, have patience and show a willingness to be his leader. Finn is clingy and would like to follow you about your house. Pulling on a leash during walks has been a challenge from day 1. Finn also is aggressive towards other dogs. He must be the only dog in the home. I will disclose his incidents to those individuals who are serious about adoption and can give a vet reference.
Finn is also a lap dog and a snuggler! I would never be re-homing him unless it was to protect my 2 small breed dogs.
My heart is broken. And an excellent home is a must.
