My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tristian, a charming older male Poodle mix who is looking for his forever home. Tristian is a sweet, playful, and affectionate companion who loves to shower his humans with love and attention. Despite his age, he has a youthful spirit and enjoys playtime as much as he enjoys cuddling on the couch.

Tristian has a knack for sensing when someone needs a little extra comfort and is always there to offer a reassuring paw or a snuggle. His favorite activities include going for leisurely walks in the park and enjoying car rides with the windows down so he can feel the breeze on his face.

Though Tristian is a wonderful dog, he may need some training to help him adjust to his new home and learn the ropes. Patience and consistency will be key in helping him settle in and become the best version of himself.

When adopting a dog, here are a few things you can expect:

  1. Adjustment Period : Your new furry friend will need some time to get used to their new environment. Be patient and give them space to explore and feel comfortable.
  2. Training : Whether it's basic commands or house training, most dogs will need some degree of training. Positive reinforcement and consistency are essential.
  3. Routine : Dogs thrive on routine, so establishing a consistent schedule for feeding, walks, and playtime can help them feel secure.
  4. Healthcare : Regular vet visits, vaccinations, and preventive care are crucial to keep your dog healthy and happy.
  5. Exercise : Dogs need daily physical activity to stay healthy and burn off energy. Tailor the amount of exercise to suit Tristian’s age and breed characteristics.
  6. Socialization : Introduce your dog to new people, pets, and environments to help them become well-rounded and confident.
  7. Love and Attention : Most importantly, your new dog will need lots of love and attention. Building a bond with your pet is one of the most rewarding parts of adopting a dog.

By opening your heart and home to Tristian, you'll be gaining a loyal and loving companion who will bring joy and happiness to your life.
