My name is Arlo!

We adopted Arlo from a shelter when he was a year old. He is now four. The shelter said he had been found on the side of the road. He had a scar around his neck that we guess was from being tied up. From his reaction upon bringing him home, we determined he had never been in a house before or knew any English words. We sent Arlo for professional training in early 2024, and he is generally very well behaved. He is great with kids (unsure of toddlers or younger), older dogs (dog dependent), and cats. He has separation anxiety that has increased since our older dog passed away. We think Arlo needs a home with an older dog or two to be happy and preferably a house where someone is home most of the day. He's great on a leash, very chill and lazy overall, but he's super smart and a fast runner. He has some behavioral issues that still need addressing, but he seems to be eager to learn. Arlo is a very sweet dog who loves his people and animal family.
