If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Oscar is a loving boy placed in a difficult situation that he does not deserve. At 3 months old he was freshly adopted from a farm by a family that quickly realized they were not equipped to handle him with their personal situation. That’s where we came in. They informed us they were thinking of dropping him off at a shelter and offered us to take him, to help them with the rehoming process. Long story short, he’s been with us for 7 months now and has become a part of our family. Oscar is a very sweet puppy with a lot of energy and a deep love for play. He requires a lot of enrichment and unfortunately, we are no longer able to provide him the attention he requires as we have taken on new positions at our jobs that require us to be away from home longer than we used to. This has resulted in him spending a lot of time cooped up in his kennel. We feel horrible and know that this is not what he deserves and want to give him a better opportunity to live a full life of fun and happiness.
