Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Appa and Momo are adorable, sweet and handleable, four-year-old, male guinea pig brothers looking for a loving guardian together.
These boys were adopted in March 2020 just as the pandamic was starting. The couple who adopted them have since split up and neither had an apartment where they could keep guinea pigs.
These boys have magnificent colors, are extremely healthy and well-cared for. Appa is a smooth coat and Momo is a crested with a little crown on his head.
Appa and Momo eat a diet of unlimited timothy and orchard hays, 1/4 cup of pellets, and two cups of fresh salad. Guinea pigs need daily vitamin C which they get from fresh pellets, a 1-inch square of red pepper, and their dark leafy greens.
Please read up on guinea pig care and diet before adopting by visiting this excellent web site http://www.guinealynx.info/
They would love a home with people who will love them, handle them daily, keep them well fed, nails trimmed, and keep their habitat nice and clean.
Their adoption fee of $50 as a pair benefits the friends of Petraits Rescue Group. For an additional $50, we’ll include a kit of absolutely everything you need to care for them including their food, 2 foot x four foot habitat, hay, hidey hut, treats, and water bottle.
If you’re interested in meeting and possibly adopting Appa and Momo please fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/guinea-pig-adoption-application/ and follow up to make an appointment by contacting friendsofpetraits@gmail.com
They are being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
