My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Velvet, a 1yr old female domestic Tabby is fully vetted, UTD on all vaccines, & ready for adoption! Velvet is very social & you can always find her hanging out with the other cats or playing with toys. She really enjoys going outside to the cat enclosure to enjoy the nice weather. Velvet would do good in a home with other cats but is not a big fan of dogs. She would love to be in a home with children as she loved attention. Velvet is considered one of the 'Littles' since she is of a small stature but with her adorable Tabby face, how could anyone turn her away!? If you think Velvet is the one for you, head on over to our website, https://www.adamscountyanimals.org/contact-us & place an application today or call (937)-544-8585 if you have any questions! If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is made up of two parts. Upon a decision to adopt an animal we require an application for adoption that asks questions such as housing and veterinary references. We then check references and may require a home visit. Upon approval you will fill out a contract for adoption and pay the adoption fees. Adoption fees are based on age and vetting required.
