The Yappy Hour Puppies are a trio of 3 month old Mini Schnauzer-Poodle mixes who are serving up shots of cuteness and puppy kisses! This litter was rescued from a hoarding situation by animal control and taken to the local shelter, who then sent up the paw signal for rescues to help them clear their kennels. We raced over and scooped up as many dogs as possible, promising them we would find them fabulous forever homes. After several baths and some TLC, these puppies were ready to live their fluffiest lives. This litter is 2 boys and 1 girl (girl power)! We expect these puppies to be in the 10-12 pound range when they reach their adult weights. We will be looking for individual homes for each puppy as we do not place siblings together. These puppies will not be options for those with true allergies. They may require grooming, but they have hair-based coats so as they get older, their coats may change. As you hit the dog-friendly breweries this summer, bring one of our amazing Yappy Hour puppies along for the ride!

Pina Colada (F): Pina Colada is the only girl of this trio and she knows how amazing and gorgeous she is! She loves attention and will clamber over her brothers to get extra pets and snuggles. From the start, she has been outgoing and curious, wanting to explore the ever-expanding world around her. She loves stealing toys from her brothers and showing them she’s the boss. Can you say girl power? She will follow you around the house as you go about your day, making sure she is always ready for a pet or a treat. Pina Colada is very playful and has already started figuring out the concept of “fetch”, which just shows how smart and intuitive she is. She is also constantly figuring out how to use her puppy dog eyes to get herself out of the mischief she causes.. It’s hard to be mad when you are looking at a face as adorable as hers. Pina Colada would be an amazing Instagram celebrity or model for a closet of bandanas and bows. She loves attention and thrives when she can be adored. If you are looking for a fruity sip of adorable puppy, you’ve met your yappy hour drink with our gal Pina Colada!

Mimosa (M): Mimosa is a sweet boy who can’t wait to try all the beat brunch spots with his forever home! Mimosa is a true Mama’s Boy who loves being cuddled and loved on. If he could glue himself to your arms to get cuddles forever, he would figure out how! Mimosa is a true velcro pup who will follow you from room to room to make sure he can be in on all the action and activities of his family. Mimosa is the perfect blend of playful and snuggly. He is happy to zoom around playing with his toys, but when he is ready for a rest, he is dead bug snoozing on his back with his blankets spread out around him. Mimosa would be a fabulous addition to any home, as long as they are ready to love him. He has such a fabulous personality that truly brightens any room he enters. He has the face of a little bear cub and the personality of an angel. It is hard to resist his puppy dog eyes when he crawls into your lap and paws at your hand for more snuggles. Mimosa is also incredibly clever. An example is the fact he taught himself how to climb stairs within days of arriving at his foster home. His foster sister came out of her room in the morning and there Mimosa was, ready for attention. This handsome gentleman can do it all! Don’t let this bottomless well of love pass you by, adopt Mimosa!

Mojito (M): Mimosa won the title of “Class Clown” amongst his littermates! This dude has a built in #TongueOutTuesday face with a permanent tongue sticking out, making every moment even sillier. He has a shining personality that is goofy and loving at the same time. Mojito loves being cuddled but is also happy to amuse himself when he needs to, as long as he knows you can give him kisses when he wants them! Mojito is playful and loves his soft plushy toys, zooming around the living room eagerly until he crashes on his siblings and passes out immediately. Mojito loves his Lamb Chop toy and is often found snoozing on top of it. Mojito has a wonderfully silly personality but is also chill at the same time. He is the family favorite in his foster home, as he keeps everyone laughing from dawn till dusk. He is beyond sweet, and dotes on his foster family with kisses and sweet cuddles. Mojito can hold his own with his siblings but would love a home where he can chill and chew on his toys in between sessions of showering his family in kisses. Mojito can’t wait to mix up drinks for his forever family forever!

The puppies start their day at 6 AM with a dog yoga session as they wake up from their puppy pile in their puppy pen. They get breakfast at 7 AM before trotting outside for a potty session and some backyard zoomies. Throughout the day, the puppies get supervised playtime both in their pen and the backyard. They are learning to love toys and nature exploration and it has been a joy to watch their personalities develop as they have gained their confidence. The puppies have lunch at 1 PM and are served dinner at 6 PM. They eat as much as they want, as they have been on a weight gaining journey. In the afternoon, the puppies get some one-on-one cuddle and snuggle time, ensuring they get their daily allotment of kisses and love. In the evening, the puppies get a chance to sink into the blankets on the couch as they watch TV with their foster families who have returned from work. They watch their programs for a few hours before they head outside for one last potty session at 9 PM. They then head into their pen and pile together as they drift off to sleep.

The Yappy Hour puppies have been well socialized with dogs in their foster home and love their canine pals. They get along well with kids and adults, especially when the humans have yummy treats to offer them. The puppies will require continued training and socialization in their forever homes, and interested families should be prepared to discuss their puppy school plans. They have not started leash training yet, but are very curious about the world around them and will be the talk of the town in no time. If you are looking for a yummy mixed drink in the form of an adorable fluffy puppy, you’ve met your match with our Yappy Hour puppies!

The Yappy Hour puppies are only an option for those who have owned a dog of their own in the last 5 years. Kids in the home should be over the age of 7.
