My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The Sky is the limit with this young girl! In her time with us, Sky has shown a ton of curiosity and intelligence. She already knows some cues such as `sit,` and can`t wait to explore her surroundings. She is still learning her proper leash manners, and she loves treats and playing fetch outside. She loves her people and getting her zoomies out with a few laps around the yard. Sky is friendly with everyone she meets, both human and canine. She`s a social butterfly! With continued positive reinforcement, Sky is sure to be a great forever companion with vast potential! Don`t wait for a rainy day, come meet Sky today.

Foster-to-Adopt!
Think you and Sky might be a match, but you want to do a trial run at home first?
You can foster Sky—meaning you’ll take them home for one week with the intention of adopting them at the end of their stay. If things don’t work out, you can always bring them back to us. If you’re interested, come see us or contact us at adoptions@sfspca.org to learn more.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
