My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Eclipse likes to climb and frolic. He likes to play with things that make noise... or hands. He will tolerate a belly rub or 3. He loves to be held, makes biscuits, and will nurse on blankets. This baby boy is soooo friendly he lets the foster kids dress him up in doll clothes! He loves the resident dogs and cats and just wants to be loved and cuddled.

Please note, we only adopt young kittens in pairs, unless you already have a young playful cat at home for them to grow up with.

More about this rescue

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
