Meet Luke!

This handsome man is extremely sweet and loves people and attention, his ideal day would be spending quality time with his human and going on adventures. Luke is extremely smart, he knows "sit", "stay", he is house broken, and crate trained! Luke is great on a leash and loves going on walks with our volunteers. Luke does need to be the only animal, but he will give you all the love you desire.

More about this shelter

Our shelter had it's beginnings in the mid 90's and formally became a nonprofit organization in 2001. The dream of Lee and Sophia DiClemente has grown to be the largest no-kill animal shelter in New Mexico. Lee passed in 2010, but Sophia carries on with the support of a small staff, a large number of volunteers, and numerous donors - large and small.
