If the eyes are the window to the soul, then what the heck are the ears? Meet Luke! Luke is a 4 month old heeler mix who is ‘all ears’ for his forever home. Luke loves to wrestle with his foster siblings and is often seen carrying his stuffed toys all around the house. He’s mastering the art of potty and crate training, too. Luke would love another dog friend in the house and someone willing to give him lots of attention and exercise as he’s an active AND smart boy.

Luke is a foster in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. *

Mile High Canine Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)3, Colorado non-profit organization established in 2019. We are 100% volunteer run and foster home based. MHCR aims to provide abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs a loving home to grow and learn in until a suitable forever home is found. While in foster care, our dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested/treated, microchipped, and vaccinated. We rescue dogs from Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico.
