My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dahlia just wants to bring an extra sense of comfort, love and security to your home!

Dahlia is a 1 and a half year old large Anatolian Shepherd mixed breed.

Dahlia came to FVHA as a stray.

We have watched Dahlia blossom in our care! True to her breed, she can be aloof when meeting new people, but warms up and is happy to show you her sweet side. Dahlia will let you know she's your best friend when she gives you a big kiss and a smile.

Dahlia would do best as your only dog in the home, but has enjoyed pack walks at the shelter and may enjoy some canine friends to stroll the neighborhood with. Dahlia would shine brightest in a home without young children. She would benefit from a slow introduction to any household cats due to her unknown background with them.

Dahlia is spayed, has received core vaccinations (Bordetella, Canine Distemper, Rabies), flea + tick preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped.
