My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How Snowball arrived:
Snowball was brought in by her previous owner on 6/10/24.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Snowball is a pretty rabbit currently seeking a new home where she can thrive and bring joy to her new family. Rabbits like Snowball make wonderful pets, known for their playful and gentle nature. They require a safe, spacious environment where they can hop around and explore. Snowball will need a diet rich in hay, fresh vegetables, and a small amount of high-quality pellets to maintain her health. Social interaction is crucial for her well-being, as rabbits are social creatures who enjoy companionship and gentle handling. Providing Snowball with plenty of toys and activities will keep her mentally stimulated and physically active. If you're ready to offer a loving and attentive home, Snowball could be the perfect addition to your family, bringing both companionship and delight..

At SDHS:

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
