My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Rosie and I am 60 lbs. ASCZ definitely thinks I have heeler in me. Probably some Border Collie too and maybe some Akita. There is something in there that is keeping me a bit fluffier and bigger than a typical heeler/BC. Either way, I am awesome. I am housebroken and crate-trained. I am active and I love to run around the yard. I have been good with all the dogs I have met. I do not think I would have any issue with children; however, I might get excited and knock them over but that's about the extent of my worry! We would suggest 8+. Interview

ASCZ will contact you for a phone call within 72 hours after submission of your application.

Additional adoption info

Please email info@asecondchanceforziva.com for an adoption application if interested in adopting or fostering a dog from ASCZ and please email us after you have submitted an application. After all checks on the application have been completed, the potential adopter will speak with the rescue to discuss what they are looking for and if a dog will be a great fit in their home. Once an application is submitted, the adopter will hear from the rescue within 72 hours.

The fee for puppies under 6 months is $525 and the fee for dogs 6 months and older is $425. This fee contributes to (but not limited to) all core vaccinations for each puppy/dog, microchip, spay/neuter, HW testing and prevention and flea/tick prevention while under the rescue's care and transportation.

A Second Chance for Ziva, Inc. (ASCZ) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of dogs regardless of breed, size or age. ASCZ rescues, cares for and adopts out homeless dogs into loving and responsible homes. The rescue does not have a shelter but rather we rely on devoted fosters that open their homes and provide love and comfort to our dogs. ASCZ is committed to knowing our dogs but also to knowing our adopters. Every dog deserves a second chance and we are passionate about making their second chance a success.
